ABOUT
Kev Hickman has been playing professionally for nearly 20 years, his career has taken him all over the globe including the USA, Canada, South America, Eastern Europe and every country in Western Europe. He has supported Slash, Deep Purple, Joe Satriani, The Darkness, Blues Pills, Magnum and InMe on international tours. He's also played Download Festival, Skegness Rock And Blues Festival in the UK and Aftershock Festival in the US among many others. Kev's been featured in Kerrang, Classic Rock and Drummer magazine and was nominated in the top 20 of 'Instrumentalist of the Year' in the 2023 UK Blues Awards and was the first drummer ever to be nominated in the top five of that same category in the both 2024 and 2025 UK Blues Awards. With Alice Armstrong he took first place in the UK Blues Challenge in 2024 and European Blues Challenge in 2025.

Kev currently plays for award winning funk, blues and soul singer Alice Armstrong, California-based roots rockers Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse and is an active session musician.

Kev supports the local music community where he is based in Milton Keynes with his two businesses, Rhythm Room Music School, with over 25 teachers and over 500 weekly students at their premises in Bletchley and in local primary and secondary schools and Old School Rehearsal Rooms, a band rehearsal studio in New Bradwell, Milton Keynes with three fully equipped, sound proofed rooms providing services to bands from Milton Keynes and beyond.
